"Watership Down" by Richard Adams (film links)



"Watership Down" is a wonderful tale about a small group of rabbits, written by Richard Adams. I read it as a child, and loved the movie. I was remembering it today after seeing a couple of rabbits in a nearby wood, and thought about it again. For those that haven't either read or seen it, the novel recounts the rabbits' odyssey as they escape the destruction of their warren to seek a place in which to establish a new home, encountering perils and temptations along the way.
